The Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, Enkelejd Alibeaj, has today asked the Attorney General to investigate Fredi Kokonesh, the mayor of the Divjaka Municipality, because, according to the DP, he is involved and convicted of human trafficking in Italy.

15 PD MPs ask the prosecution body to follow the procedures according to the decriminalization law.

From data made public before, there is a reasonable doubt, says PD, that the subject Fredi Kokoneshi is under the conditions of prohibition to run for and be elected to a high public function.

"The Mayor of Divjakë has carried out trafficking in human beings and illegal activities related to prostitution in Milan and as a result, he was arrested by the Italian Police and sentenced to prison", says the request signed by 15 deputies.
