The former mayor of Lezha, Fran Frrokaj, today appeared at SPAK. Asked by journalists about the reason, Frrokaj stated that he "went for his work."

It is not known why the mayor was called to SPAK today.

We remind you that the former mayor of Lezhë, Fran Frrokaj, was sentenced to four years in prison by the Court of the Judicial District of Lezhë. The mayor of Lezha, Fran Frrokaj, was arrested in March 2018 on charges of abuse of office, and then the court decided that he should be investigated at large.

Fran Frrokaj and the arrested officials are accused of having falsified, alienated and appropriated 234,548 m2 of Rana state land in the coastal area of ​​Shengjin, in the place called "Rana e Hedhun", in cooperation with each other and abusing their duties.

While in March 2022, the Supreme Court returned to the Appeal of Shkodra the issue of the alienation of properties in the area of ​​Rana e Hedhun in Shengjin.

The decision was taken by the Supreme Court, which accepted the appeal made by the Appellate Prosecutor's Office and decided to overturn the decision of the Court of Appeal in Shkodër, returning the case for reconsideration to that court with a different panel.

In the decision, it is stated that the court of Lezha did not accept the request of the Prosecution, arguing that some defendants have submitted claims on the validity and usability of the acts and their probative power.
