Opinion from the Venice Commission on Olta Xhačka's mandate, DP reacts:

The chairman of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has considered illegal the request of the majority in the Assembly to the Constitutional Court regarding a request for an opinion from the Venice Commission regarding the mandate of deputy Olta Xhaçka.

"The socialist majority asks the GJK to get an advisory opinion from the KV on how the constitutional judges should read their decision no. 1/2023 for the mandate of strategic deputy Olta Xhaçka. The request, besides being illegal, is ridiculous to the point of absurdity!

The Constitutional Court has finished examining the case and must restore the authority for the protection of the Constitution and the rule of law as soon as possible. No further delay can be tolerated and it would be the end of constitutionality in the country", writes Bardhi in "X".
