The Complaints and Sanctions Commission today rejected the requests of Xhemal Gjunkshi, the Democratic Party candidate in the May 11 elections in the Dibra district.

"For the first case that you are asking for the confrontation of the film footage with the minutes of the meeting, based on the film footage, we examined these boxes and the result that was produced and produced, we have nothing to investigate further in this case."

Regarding the second request for the opening of the ballot boxes of CEAZ 16, it is a request that you yourself gave up in the previous session, and the second of your claim of the film footage resulted in these other two CEAZs as well, that the film footage did not match the physical votes in the ballot boxes. Even in this case, we do not believe that the examination of CEAZ 16 will bring us a change in the ranking because the film footage does not match the physical condition of the ballot papers.

"The third request for diaspora votes, we find unsupported by claims and evidence because there is no evidence regarding diaspora votes that they will bring about a change in the ranking ," said KAS member Elvin Lako.

Gjunkshi asked the KAS during the meeting that the narrowing of the difference by 54 votes in these boxes showed that there may be additional evidence in the others that lead to a change in the results of the tables, in addition to the criminal liability of the commissioners. KAS expressed its opposition in principle, but took into account the request of representatives Marash Logu and Gjunkshi to review it.

He specifically requested the verification of additional CEC footage for the other counted ballot boxes, the opening of all Diaspora ballot boxes and 15 out of 16 ballot boxes from the Mati CEAZ.

From the opening of 42 ballot boxes in Debar, it turned out that only 17 votes were not counted for Gjunkshi, which he recovered today, but which do not change the result.

Of the 42 ballot boxes counted, 10 votes were for Alketa Agolli, 8 votes less for Basir Çollaku, and 49 votes less for Përparim Spahiu.

In the Dibra district, the SP won 3 parliamentary mandates, while the DP won 2 mandates, introducing Xhelal Mziun and Denisa Vata to Parliament.
