Megi Fino / Endrit Brahimllari
Megi Fino has been elected as the chairwoman of the Tirana Municipal Council. Upon the proposal of the Chairman of the Socialist Councilors Group, Eridian Salianji, Fino was nominated as the head of the Municipal Council, while Endrit Braimllari was nominated as the vice-chairman.
Megi Fino will replace Romina Kuko in this position.
The daughter of the late Socialist MP, Bashkim Fino, Megi Fino, currently serves as Deputy Minister at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs since June 2021.
Meanwhile, Brahimllari, former vice-president of the Freedom Party, ran for the Socialist Party in the May 11 parliamentary elections, but failed to secure enough votes to become an MP.
