During a meeting with Democrats in Fier, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha condemned Edi Rama's statements in Brussels, saying that Albania would consider secession from northern Macedonia if the road to EU membership stalled due to the stalemate between RMV and Bulgaria. 

According to Berisha, Rama is the same as Enver Hoxha and Ramiz Alia.
