Meeting of the National Council of Reestablishment

After three hours of debate, the Presidency of the Democratic Party of Reestablishment has decided to pass to the National Council for approval the changes in the statute that pave the way for Gazment Bardhi and his supporters to become part of the structures.

Since the proposals for changes in the statute were made by Sali Berisha, the Presidency decided to pass it directly to the National Council to decide the changes. The Presidency has decided that these statutory changes are transitory.

Meanwhile, at the closed-door meeting of the National Re-establishment Council, there were debates about changes to the statute.

Edi Paloka has stated that the National Council has the right to make decisions on statutory changes. According to him, this is necessary for the unity of DP.

Paloka also states that changes in the statute were consulted with Berisha. In the chairmanship, he said he had different opinions, but in the end an agreement was reached.

"The effect of the union has a great influence not only on the membership but also on the citizens. Today we propose the statutory changes that were also discussed in the presidency. An understanding was reached on wording.

The mayor Berisha was also consulted. In the chair, we discussed for a long time and had different opinions, but in the end we reached an agreement" , said Paloka.

Meanwhile, there was Endira Bushati, who argued with Paloka about the agenda.

"I learned the agenda from the media. You Mr. Paloka, you didn't answer me about the agenda. We are not sheep to find out the order from the media.

You said, with the proposal of the presidency, make transparent the decision-making, the opinions for or against. Article 54 of the statute is emphasized: The party court interprets the statute. I request an interpretation from the court" , said Bushati.

Adriana Kalaja : By decision of the presidency, statutory changes were made

Flamur Noka: The presidency of the PD gathered 1 week ago examined the institutional vacuum in 19 branches that ran for the local elections. We have 19 elected presidents, whose term of office has ended. This process comes after our merger, which has had a positive impact on the membership.
