Illegal constructions of oligarchs, Rama: There is no businessman who can say
Edi Rama

After the meeting of the Presidency of the Socialist Party, Prime Minister Edi Rama stopped for a statement to journalists who also asked him about the government's initiative on illegal constructions.

The head of the government said that there is no builder in Albania who comes forward to tell him that he has received the money.

According to Rama, the problem of illegal constructions has been the horror of this country. But according to him, the fact that today this problem is less, shows the great work that has been done to stop it. And here he added that he himself and the Socialist Party can do this.

"I'm not even a construction inspector, I'm not even the police chief, and above all, if today we are 1 to 10 in relation to where we were, this is the result of my will, the will of this government and the will of this municipality. But as I said before, the still unresolved problem of constructions without permission for the purpose of profit is a problem that has its source in the scum of justice in the first place. What we are doing shows the complete opposite, that we are not what your question assumed, which was taking from here, giving from there. That if it were so we would do what others have done before. It is not the people who get the euros as you tell people who want to listen to you and unfortunately believe you, but there are subjects who engage in competitions and get what is due to you, while I am repeating it to you, if that was the connection, we would do what others have done before, we would take those floors for ourselves. And we didn't need to get into this story at all. But we entered this path because we have nothing to do with these. Personally, there is no builder in Albania, there is no businessman in Albania who can come up to me and say that 1 penny of his work is in my pockets. There is no. You can imagine it, but it does not exist. The problem of illegal constructions is a problem that has been the horror of this country. Today it is a problem that still exists unfortunately, but it is many times less, which means that a lot of work has been done to curb it, but nevertheless until the last meter built without permission for the purpose of profit we will we continue to resist and do our work. With this decision, you will see that these square meters will be taken by the state, in one way or another, and after they are taken by the state, they will be used for public interest. There was no one to do this. Only I and only this party here can do that. Others have fixed things, closed their eyes. If Mr. Veliaj and I had allowed them, you would not have heard about this story at all because you did not raise this issue, you, I raised this issue, we raised this issue", said Rama.

Rama responded to the accusations about the construction of an installation in the Prime Minister.

"The government has not spent a single penny on any type of installation in the premises of the Council of Ministers. The government has undertaken a renewable solar energy program that will be extended to all institutions starting from the prime minister and all ministries. It is not a work of art, but a renewable energy project combined with the creation of a microclimate and a new work environment. It is not something that is done for me, or for us, but it will be there for years to come, planned long ago. The theory that all investments should be stopped because we have a crisis situation is a theory to manipulate people, but it does not work. Other income comes from investments. From income, the economy grows, and from the growth of the economy, the capacity to distribute increases,
