The President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has transmitted an audio message from his cell, in which he expresses his conviction that the opposition has a clear path to oust Prime Minister Edi Rama from power.

In his message, Meta harshly criticized the 12 years of socialist governance, describing the opposition's victory in the May 11 elections as inevitable.

Therefore, Meta calls for everyone to focus on the opposition's program, as according to him, this is the program in the interest of Albanians.

"Victory solves everything. To give historic choices for the future of Albania by punishing the hostage-takers of democracy. He abused his power to blackmail the leaders of the position and who today sheds crocodile tears for the PD primaries which are like day and night with his personal selections in the dark as the Chairman of the Organization with endless anonymous people, most of them recommended by well-known gangs."

The one who ran eighth in Durrës in 2021 and had rigged the result, with his gangs and partner of the darkness of May 17, is now the first to be locked in the bunker of closed lists along with all the anonymous people, who tomorrow cannot be held accountable for the loss... Let us all focus on our excellent program that is in the interest of all Albanians. Let us all focus on a Great Victory", declared Meta.
