The eyes of all of Europe are today (October 16, 2023) in Tirana, where the Berlin Process Summit is being held for the first time. The leaders of the European Union and those of the Balkans were received by Prime Minister Edi Rama himself and they all paraded on the red carpet one by one. 

While introducing the ministers, Rama said that Igli Hasani was the new finance minister, confusing him with Ervin Mete who was holding him.

After the welcome given to all the dignitaries on the red carpet, Scholz was the last to arrive at the prime minister, where the attendees are already following some works of art.

We remind you that the German chancellor, Olaf Scholz, whose country initiated the Berlin Process, is present. The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, arrived in Tirana yesterday, while the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, is also here.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who said he will raise the Beleri case, as well as Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, while French President Emmanuel Macron canceled his participation, will be in Tirana for the first official visit in the afternoon.
