The recount process of votes from the May 11 parliamentary elections for the Durrës region is underway today.

Member of the Complaints and Sanctions Commission, Ledio Braho, stated in a television interview that this recount process for Durrës is expected to be completed today.

"I believe that today we will finish the recount of the Durrës district. As I said, on Monday we have scheduled four sessions for the last four districts," he said.

Regarding the certification of the results of the May 11 elections, according to Braho, this is expected to happen by the end of July.

"I believe that on Monday, these four districts will be closed with a decision by the KAS. Then, depending on the procedures, whether the Electoral College will continue or not, I believe that it will continue, as it was continued with the other districts. So, I believe that by the end of July there may be a certification of the results, if we do not find ourselves in conditions of invalidity in one of these four remaining districts," he said.
