Edi Rama arrived this Thursday morning at the SP headquarters, where he received a bouquet of red roses for his 61st birthday.
This birthday found the leader of the Socialist Party at work in a meeting with the deputies of the city of Tirana.
This meeting is a continuation of yesterday's meeting with the directors of the Tirana Municipality and the deputy elected on May 11th.
Most of the current MPs were in the parliament hall yesterday and found it impossible to attend the meeting with the municipality directors.
Top Channel journalist Muhamed Veliu learns that Rama has requested the engagement of current Tirana MPs in gathering problems in every unit of Tirana.
Sources from this meeting indicate that Rama also touched on the possibility of early elections in the Tirana municipality.
"It is not known how this will go," Rama is quoted as saying.
This question raised by Rama about whether or not to hold elections in the Tirana Municipality is also linked to an expected development regarding what the high court will decide on the appeal requested by Erion Veliaj.
Rama yesterday, at the meeting of the municipality directors, requested a joining of forces between them and the new and old deputies who will be divided into working groups and sent to the field to observe and collect citizens' problems./ Top Channel
