The chairman of the Democratic Party, elected by Rithemelimi, has convened today the Presidency where the candidacies for the leading positions of the party have been approved.

As defined by the statute, they are proposed by President Sali Berisha and will be voted by the National Council, which will meet at 17:00. There are two candidacies for each position.

Flamur Noka and Arben Ristani are running for the post of general secretary, while Luciano Boçi, Belind Këlliçi, Oerd Bylykbashi and Agron Shehaj agreed on the positions of the two deputy chairmen of the Democratic Party. Ervin Minarolli is competing for the post of organizational secretary against Aurel Bylykbashi.
