The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha , has made strong accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama , linking him to the disappearance of the well-known underworld businessman, Ervis Martinaj .

"'I know the license plate,' he said, and Ervis Martinaj disappeared. He brings out the gangs and kills you!", declared Berisha during an appearance for the media.

According to him, Rama has created a system where criminal gangs are used for eliminations and political intimidation.

"This is the state that Rama has built, where crime commands and justice is silent," Berisha emphasized.

The opposition leader added that Martinaj's disappearance remains one of the darkest events that, according to him, shows the connection between power and crime.

"Rama knows the truth. He does not seek justice, because he is part of the crime," Berisha concluded.
