Erion Brache confessed that it was he who asked Eddie Rama not to be involved in the Government after the Socialists' third-term victory in last year's April 25th elections.
The main reason, he says, has been "knives behind his back and efforts to involve him in a mayor's file". The Socialist MP does not mention names, but it is about the former mayor of Lusnje, Fatos Tushe, while the person within the government who 'stuck the knives behind his back' is zv. Current Prime Minister, Ahmetaj.
"One of the elements is these knives behind the back. There was a big campaign even because of a criminal case by the SPAK against a mayor, who jumped on me on my back. In that period I couldn't share the government with a person who promoted this. Edi Rama was clear on the issue, but under such conditions there was no room for two, there was room for one" said Erion Brache in "Arnautistan".
According to Brache's confession, the earthquake and reconstruction process entrusted to The Ahmetaj changed the governance.
"The earthquake made the government broader and some of the elements I had dealt with during the autumn of that year, dealing with fiscal policies and economic policies at the expense of agriculture and the poor and middle layers, which are now proving harmful, were produced conditions to have stagnant, in favour of these people. The day I left, I thanked Drama for the freedom he allowed me inside the government. Over the past two and a half years I've had communication with him. I had freedom to oppose and not sign on certain occasions," the MP adds.
Brache, who held the position of vice president. The prime minister for 7 months has had bitter clashes with Ahmetaj, since the latter headed the Ministry of Finance and Brace Commission of Economy in the Assembly.
Among the issues that collided was the change in the VAT scheme for farmers. Even at an Economics Commission hearing, Erion Brache accused that there are people in government working to secure favors for a certain group of people who control markets.
