"We will defend it with blood"/ Residents forcefully enter the municipality, oppose the HPP!

Residents of the villages of Koçaj , Kokërdhak and Kodra e Danit in Bulqizë forcibly entered the Municipality premises this Friday, in protest against a project to build a hydroelectric power plant in the area.

The protest took place at the same time as the scheduled City Council meeting , whose agenda included an item that provided for the removal from the forest and pasture fund of the route where the pipeline network would pass and where the building for the energy project would be built.

Outraged by this issue, residents entered the municipality premises to ask the municipal councilors not to approve this decision.
