Socialist MP proposes Gramoz Ruçi for President

SP MP, Etjen Xhafaj has made public one of the three names entered in the envelope regarding the proposals for the new President. It is about the former Speaker of the Assembly, Gramoz Ruçi.

"I am discovering one of the three names I have proposed. "For me, the man who needs a president is Gramoz Ruçi", said Xhafaj in the show "Dekalog". The Socialist MP also gave the reasons for this proposal, which is the seriousness he has shown in his career.

Asked if the name of Gramoz Ruçi could bring an opposition reaction according to which Ruçi was Minister of Interior in the government of the beginning of 1991 and previously First Secretary of Tepelena District, Xhafaj said that this issue is clarified a good times and does not believe it is an argument.

The first round of the presidential election will take place in the parliament on May 16, but it is not known whether the name of Gramoz Ruçi will be among those who will be voted.
