The files authority seeks to change the law for former employees of the State Security by proposing reverification. The proposal came after the authority discovered that former president Ilir Meta was an associate of Sigurimi.

Former MP Myslim Murrizi, in an interview for Ora News, stated that with the current law, only the person who is interested can request information for verification by providing all his data.

"In the current law, the political class has played hypocritically. This is a law that does not legitimize anyone other than the interested person to request information, so they have deliberately made it so that any person who dares can go and make a request with all their data, which I did in 2017 and I have a certificate of purity of my image from these authorities", Murrizi said.

He said that the File Authority does not legitimize this authority to reopen the files once again, while he said that he is in favor of changing this law.

"The authority of the files does not legitimize this authority to reopen the files once again. I am a supporter that this law should be changed. The authority of the files falls within its own law. If Ilir Meta goes to the authority of the files, they will wait two or three months, until they find out and give this answer, but only if Ilir Meta goes".

He said that he proposed changing the law in 2020, but it was not approved by the SP.

"I proposed the law in 2020. DP did not vote for it, it was afraid, your knees were shaking. I said to open the files for the deputies, mayors, judges and others. I did not ask to open the files for those who graze the calves.

Today, there are 500 active people who continue to be after 32 years of post-communism in the Pyramid of the Albanian State, they are in the parliament, broadcast directors".

Murrizi issued strong accusations saying that there are 13 analysts in Albania who are security collaborators.

"A deputy who never speaks is a little more dangerous than a show host who makes up an opinion and gives news every day in the media. You have 13 analysts who are insurance associates.

The time has come for Albania and the Albanians to find out who they were who sold their souls to hell in '48 until December 12, '90. Then Albania was called pluralist because DP was born. I am not in favor of banning them in parliament. But it is enough for the Albanians to know who these dirty, dirty people are who have not left anything unreported, to know that they make us moral", said Murrizi.

He also said that there is information that former members and members of today's authority of the file authority are also security associates.

"A lot of information is needed to come to the conclusion that it is Ilir Meta. I don't know why they are debating, they are in the parliament, you have the will on Thursday to vote on changing the law. I suspect and have information that former members and current members of the file authority are themselves security associates. They know who it belongs to", concluded Murrizi.
