Bajram Begaj has arrived at the Assembly hall, where in a few minutes he is expected to take the oath as the new President of the Republic, officially taking office.
Bajram Begaj arrived at the hall of plenary sessions of the Assembly accompanied by his wife and children. He was received by Speaker Lindita Nikolla.
Bajram Begaj, received the trust of the majority of deputies in the Assembly to be the new President of the Republic of Albania. In the parliamentary session of June 4, 2022, Begaj was elected the new President of Albania with 78 votes in favor, 4 against and 1 abstention (83 deputies participated in the vote).
