Berisha: I have never been "non grata", I have only had a visa sanction!

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has claimed that he has never been persona non grata in the US, while claiming that there was a visa ban.

He said that there was official communication about the lifting of this restriction, but without mentioning which official he spoke with over the phone.

"I'm back! Sali Berisha has never been non-grata. Rest assured. No! If you want now...I've never been non-grata. It was a visa sanction. My opponents said I was non-grata because I opposed it. It was a ban on entry to the US. Today I say I'm back. Goodbye!", he said.

Berisha refused to answer whether the sanction has also been lifted from family members.
