The Albanian Parliament meets today in the next plenary session, where the agenda includes the development of 6 interpellations.

The interpellations open with the Minister of Environment, Sofjan Jaupaj, from whom Democratic Party deputies are seeking clarifications on the situation created in Albania regarding the plan to build a luxury resort within the Narta protected area.

They demand transparency on the legal basis of the project, environmental impact studies, or compliance with legislation on protected areas.

DP deputies have summoned Interior Minister Besfort Lamallari for questioning regarding the incident that occurred a few days ago in Lozhan, Maliqi, where officer Enea Mekolli lost his life in the line of duty and his colleague was injured. Opposition lawmakers are seeking clarification on the organization and conduct of the police operation.

MP Agron Shehaj has called Prime Minister Edi Rama to an interpellation regarding the concession "For the design, construction, operation, maintenance and transfer of the Thumanë-Vorë-Kashar road axis".

Economy Minister Delina Ibrahimaj is expected to provide explanations for Durana Park, summoned to interpellation by democrat Eno Bozdo, regarding the procedures followed and the use of public funds.

Agron Shehaj and Erald Kapri have requested the development of an interpellation with the Minister of Finance Petrit Malaj regarding the execution of financial obligations and the collection of a fine of 120 million euros against the company Bankers Petroleum, as well as the revenues generated from concessions and public-private partnerships in Albania.
