DP MP Ina Zhupa said that the Parliament is approving unnecessary draft laws through an accelerated procedure, while the request from the European Parliament to repeal the law on protected areas is not included in the agenda.

" They have treated the development with the concept: when Rama wants, who Rama wants, where Rama wants, how Rama wants. This is neither the European Syria with which you campaigned nor the Albania that Albanians want. You have a draft law dated May 14 to repeal the law on protected areas. It was a request from the European Parliament. It is the only draft law on the calendar that does not have a date for when it will be reviewed.

"It is one of the demands of the protesters to protect protected areas, natural and cultural heritage. Adopt a calendar for worthless things. Respond to reality. Reality demands the resignation of Edi Rama, demands a transitional government, a parliament that approves the repeal of laws against the public interest ," said Zhupa.
