Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha has given strong messages, apparently towards former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, following the serious allegations levelled against him by SPAK.
While Berisha's son-in-law is in prison and the former "political father" is on the charge of filing for corruption and abuse of office charges, Basha has demanded that the stolen money be returned to the citizens.
From Dibra where he held several meetings, Basha has called for all corrupt people to be held accountable to justice.
From the SPAK dossier it was revealed that Jamarbër Malltezi had managed to earn over 5 million euros from the privatization of the former "Partizan" complex without making the least investment.
Message of the United:
Today I was in Dibra where I saw closely the concerns of traders about the rising prices and the decline in purchasing power of citizens who, with the small budget available, fail to meet all their needs.
That's been the reality for years, say the dealers. This has affected the mass departure of youth, thus making it impossible to exploit the agriculture and live-in sector in this area.
They face many difficulties, from lack of support for the poor, for the agriculture and live-in sector, the lack of market and jobs, which has led to a decline in purchasing power.
Poor citizens, high corruption. This is the reality in Albania that is forcing Albanians to leave the country.
So today it is vital to end impunity. The corrupt must be accountable to justice and the money they have taken from albanians is returned.
The money that goes into the pockets of the rulers today turns into good for the citizens.
