Bardhi overturns Basha's exemptions, returns Sali Berisha and 8 MPs to the

Gazment Bardhi revokes the exemptions of Lulzim Basha, returning the deputies to the Parliamentary Group, including Sali Berisha.

In the capacity of the head of the DP parliamentary group, Bardhi, who also holds the position of vice-president of the Reestablishment Democrats, has sent a letter to the Speaker of the Assembly on the change in the composition of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group.

On behalf of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, I inform you that at the meeting of the Group on April 03, 2024, in accordance with articles 15 and 16 of the Rules of the Assembly, as well as the Internal Rules of the Parliamentary Group, it was decided "Revocation of all decisions for disciplinary measures taken by the group during this Legislature". For this reason, all the deputies who declared themselves at the start of this Legislature as members of the Parliamentary Group, are reinstated/considered as members of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party starting from April 3, 2024. In these conditions, in support of Article 16 of In the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly, I ask that this change in the composition of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party be reflected in the bodies of the Assembly" is written in Bardhi's letter dated April 9, 2024.
