The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has commented on the statement of the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, who publicly reacted to the arrest of the directors of the Municipality by order of SPAK.

According to Bardhi, Erion Veliaj gave two messages in the statement to the media, one was for Prime Minister Edi Rama and one was for the Special Prosecutor's Office.

Bardhi said that the mayor Veliaj gave a message to the head of the government that if "I take responsibility for my directors, was the message to the prime minister, you will take responsibility for your deputy".

"Everyone in this room knows better than we do how badly Edi Rama governs, because you feel his bad governance more than we do. We were listening to the associate of the 5 directors, the head of the Tirana community who actually brought to the surface what is being talked about these days, we passed the internal division and are united, but the division is more severe in the Socialist Party. We didn't take a seat, nor to share money nor to steal money, whereas they have started an internal war about who will go to prison first, today's speech had many messages, a message for justice and a message for Edi Ramën, the message for justice was that my directors have done a good job for Tirana and you should not hit them, the main message was for Edi Ramën, the same as you who do not know what your deputy has done, if I keep responsibility for my directors, you will be responsible for your deputy ", said Bardhi during a meeting with the democrats in Berat.
