Israel's ambassador in Tirana, Galit Peleg, has asked Albania, as well as Israel's friendly countries, to declare Hamas a terrorist organization.
In an interview with journalist Sidorela Gjoni, she emphasized that Israel requires friendly countries to support Israel and internationals to give it the right time to react as they see fit.
"We are asking for help from our friends in important positions, in big countries like the USA and EU members. We are looking for two-three main things. We want these countries to continue to support Israel and openly declare this support, and secondly we want them to give us the time and legitimacy to react in the way we see fit to react.
We will not try to harm civilians in Gaza, but we will aim to target the Hamas organization and make Hamas leaders suffer. We want the internationals to allow us to confront Hamas. Nothing is balanced until we destroy Hamas's infrastructure. We ask for the support of friendly countries to support us for this. We expect from countries friendly to Israel, including Albania, to declare Hamas as a terrorist organization ," she said.
She stressed that no one in Israel is safe, stressing that they will investigate where the attack came from.
Asked why the Mossad, which is the second largest spy agency in the West after the CIA, failed to detect the attack in advance, he said that he will answer this at a later time.
"My family is fortunately fine, but no one is sure. We are a very small country. I have several friends whose son has gone missing. I must say that at this time, when we have so many lives lost, we have more than 700 people dead and more than 2200 people in critical condition and more than 130 people have been kidnapped. It is a different type of attack than other attacks. I don't think we currently have an answer to that question, It's something we need to investigate. We will see how we should respond. What is important is to take care of people who are in critical condition. I will answer the question in a second moment ", she said.
