The SP MP from the open list in the Vlora district, Damian Gjiknuri , invited to News 24, stated that his candidacy in Vlora was a political experiment on the part of Prime Minister Rama, which, according to him, yielded positive results.

Asked what his race would be like if he were to run in Tirana, Gjiknuri said that Tirana has a larger space and is more competitive.

"I returned to Vlora after a period of separation, and that made it more difficult. But I hope that my contribution with the votes helped in the result we achieved ," he added.
