Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting today with Socialist ministers and MPs to celebrate the victory in the parliamentary elections.

During his speech, Rama said that the victory was the result of work followed according to the plan step by step and that has started since the victory in the previous elections.

He did not spare any irony for the Democratic Party, which has declared that it will not recognize the election results, saying that they have built a "parallel universe" where they believe that the elections were stolen through money, crime, and gangs.

"The better the Socialist Party has been, the better Albania has been. And the worse the Party has been, the worse Albania has been. Others don't want to admit it, they think they win the elections, and we steal more and more. The bigger the vote gap, the bigger the gap in their parallel universe.

These days, their universe is filled with bags, envelopes of lek, Bulgarian trains that run through the mountain ranges of Albania. Dozens of young deputies here who have emerged from the caves of crime, through electoral terror... The truth is that we have no disappointment here. We simply received the fruits of a long, crushing work, programmed with a calendar since the victory in the previous elections", said Rama, among other things.
