MP Petro Koçi, who was not on the list of candidates for MP in the May 11 elections, started the day with an ironic statement.
He writes on social media that "when a politician gives you a bag of flour, tomorrow he'll take a bag of money."
It is not known whether Petro Koçi is concerned about the current political situation, which is full of accusations of vote-buying, or whether he will simply show those who may have sold votes the consequences of this action.
Petro Koçi withdrew from the race for MP in the May 11 elections. He had announced that he would work for the victory of the Socialist Party, but would not be on the representative list of candidacies for MP.
"I will not be on the representative list of candidates for MPs, not out of any political cowardice, fear of personal failure or abandonment of the spirit of solidarity, but because unlike all of you, I am the only one who does not have the chance to start on equal terms because I do not have an area of ??electoral political responsibility," the MP had argued.
Meanwhile, Koçi also gave a message to politics regarding the election law. According to him, open lists at the regional level are a door for organized crime.
According to him, the open list at the regional level will turn into the moral grave of politics, while he requested that the next parliament change this law.
"The open list at the regional level will turn into the moral grave of politics, you shouldn't have done it. I hope that the next parliament will change the law for the next elections. If they are going to leave it with open lists, leave it at the national level and the voter will vote for more than one candidate. The open list at the regional level will be a door, not just a window, for organized crime. We saw what happened," Koçi declared.
