The leader of the Democratic Party has not ruled out the possibility that the opposition will go on a hunger strike in September when the new parliamentary session begins.

Asked by Top Channel journalist Elda Menga, Berisha said that a hunger strike is not ruled out and that he will convince Albanians that the May 11 elections were a farce.

"Absolutely ready to lead it to victory. By personal example, to return the free vote to Albanians. Nothing is excluded, no variant."

"It is important for us that Albanians with full conscience are convinced that this was a farce and what government propaganda represents," was Berisha's response.
