Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar has spoken in superlatives about Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, describing him as one of the most prominent and respected leaders in the world today.

Through a post on the social network "X", Sa'ar emphasizes that he had the pleasure of meeting with Edi Rama in Tirana.

Sa'ar further thanks Rama for his commitment to Israel's security and his firm stance against anti-Semitism and terror.

Sa'ar's post:

It was a pleasure to meet today in Tirana with the Prime Minister of Albania,

Prime Minister Rama has led Albania without interruption for 13 years and, in my opinion, is one of the most distinguished and respected leaders in the world today.

He is a clear and courageous voice on the international stage.

He is also a steadfast friend of Israel, who has stood by our side in challenging times.

We greatly appreciate his commitment to Israel's security and his firm stance against anti-Semitism and terror.

This was an in-depth discussion on advancing relations between our countries, as well as on the situation in the Middle East and the Western Balkans.
