Daniel Stern was recently caught red-handed in a prostitution-related scandal after allegedly trying to hire an escort.
According to TMZ, the 68-year-old actor was looking for a prostitute last month during the holiday season on December 10th at a hotel in Camarillo, California. According to police documents, the actor was charged with the crime of “solicitation of prostitution.”
The charge relates to suspicion of contact for the purpose of paid sexual intercourse, which is punishable under California law.
Authorities explain that Stern was not escorted to the police station and was not photographed, but was only given a summons, avoiding formal arrest. So far, there are no other details on the specific circumstances of the incident or on the possible continuation of the case through legal channels.
This is not the only incident that has brought the actor to the attention of authorities in recent months.
The news comes a month after the actor, who was hospitalized in October 2025 due to an undisclosed medical emergency, revealed in an interview that he had left Hollywood behind.
