Medical students in protest

Medical students are marching towards the Assembly to oppose the government's law which conditions graduation with a forced employment where the state assigns it.

Otherwise, students who refuse to sign the agreement will have to pay for their studies with the new fees that will be set by the Council of Ministers.

"I don't want to leave, but I don't want my employment to be forced where the state wants. Diploma is being taken hostage. We cannot be hostages of the state and have to go where they assign us. This means that we go back in time and are no longer in democracy", says a student.

Students demand the withdrawal of the law or warn of a boycott.

"If we see that this law will become law in 15 days, we are ready to go to next year's boycott. I can't agree about the hostage taking. We are going before the assembly because they are making decisions without asking us. No pr/law has not been discussed with us.

Around 10:30, the medical students gathered in front of the UMT rectorate to then continue the march towards the Assembly and then towards the Ministry of Education, as they oppose the draft law presented by the Council of Ministers regarding forced employment. They say they are being used as "experimental guinea pigs"
