The show "Në Shënjestër" by journalist Klodiana Lala, brings this Wednesday details of the serious assassination that took place in Fushë-Kruje, targeting Gentjan Bejtja, but which left his brother-in-law dead and his two minor children injured.

For him, this was not the first assassination in a row, but among all the others that had happened to him in the span of a few years, this was the heaviest.

Not simply because the bullets this time poured into the entrance of his apartment, but because unlike all other armed attacks, the bullets this time did not even spare his two minor children.

But Gentjan Bejtja, this problematic character of the underworld, was often warned of the bad luck that awaited him.

He knew this very well, and that was probably the reason why he spent most of his time cowering almost in complete illegality. So much so that in the village of Larushk, in Fushë-Kruje, where he lived with his family, in this seemingly not so fortified villa, but with the necessary space, from where he could control the entire threatening landscape around him, he was rarely seen last.

Something about which apparently his targeters were also aware, those who had been following him from behind to kill him for some time.

Surely, the same ones who had carried out several assassinations in a series, but who had only been able to physically damage him, but not eliminate him completely.

In this series of assassinations, it is believed to have been the most recent one, which occurred in the early hours of the morning of July 4, 2023, this time at the gate of his villa, where this time, the assassins or those who ordered the elimination of Gentjan Bejtje , apparently they had already received orders to shoot without hesitation even at his immediate family, his two young children.

They left his 13-year-old eldest son seriously injured, and slightly injured the youngest, only 10 years old.

Meanwhile, they took the life of his brother-in-law, Ramazan Sino, 29 years old. A clear signal now for the target Gentjan Bejtja, that in achieving the goal of eliminating him, the killers would spare no one. No matter how much he hid… not even his children, his most precious thing.

"Regarding the incident that occurred in the yard of the residence of citizen Gentjan Bejtja, on the morning of July 4, 2023, at around 00:15, in the village of Larushk, in Krujë, we inform you that as a result of the injuries received, he changed Citizen Ramazan Sino, 29 years old, was killed, as well as two minors aged 13 and 10, respectively his nephews, were injured and are in the hospital, under the care of doctors," said the police announcement.

According to the dynamics built by the investigative group, everything is said to have happened in the span of a few minutes, during the midnight shift.

The perpetrators, who are suspected to have been three of them, are thought to have waited for the car driven by the brother-in-law of the target of the assassination, in which his two grandsons were also traveling, on the main road of the village of Larushk. Only 100 meters from Gentjan Bejtja's family villa. It is suspected that as soon as they saw the car approaching, they got out with firearms in their hands and headed quickly towards the vehicle where Ramazan Sino, Gentjan Bejtja's brother-in-law, and his two nephews were, in this case the sons of the real target of the assassination.

According to the evidence found at the scene, the perpetrators are thought to have poured more than 20 bullets towards the car of their victims. Which also shows the severity with which they acted

The investigative file

During the examination of the scene, the police found 24 bullet casings. While 4 cartridges were found in the place where the perpetrators' car was initially stopped.

In order to identify and capture the suspected author/s, the Police services have carried out checks in 3 apartments and escorted 3 people who may have knowledge of the incident.

The first person who heard the long gunshots coming from nowhere near his apartment was a relative of Gentjan Bejtja. He came out first to see what was happening outside his apartment and was faced with the serious images of the assassination. He told the investigative team that he could not see the perpetrators in the darkness of the night.

But while the investigative group was carrying out the first investigations regarding the serious incident, the police were alerted to a car which was on fire, not far from the site of the assassination, in the village of Tapizë, in Kamëz.

"After receiving the notification, the police immediately went to the scene, where they surrounded the area and set up checkpoints.

At 00.40, in Tapizë, at 'Lapidari', our services were notified and a suspected 'Volkswagen' vehicle was found burning" , the police announced.

But even though Gentjan Bejtja's villa was surveilled from all sides by security cameras that monitored the entire territory, according to the investigative group, the video footage was able to frame only one of the perpetrators of the assassination.

Although at the scene, it is said that there were three such.

During the examination of the burnt car in Tapiza, the police found 3 Kalashnikovs inside it.

As in many similar cases, this time also the license plates used in the authors' car were stolen, this time in Tirana.

Eyewitness: " At that time, when the assassination happened, I was at home. Upon hearing the screams, I went out to see what had happened from the second floor of my apartment, which is next to Gentjan Bejtja's, who is my cousin. At that moment, I saw three people running away, but I couldn't make out any of them. I managed to notice that one of the assassins was waiting for them in the car. When they approached the car, they shot again, this time in the air."

But even though the victim of the attack was the 29-year-old Ramazan Sino, in this case Gentjan Bejtja's brother-in-law, the investigative group has no doubts that the real target of this tragic assassination was the latter himself.

According to the investigative group, the perpetrators immediately opened fire when Ramazan Sino was getting out of the car with his grandchildren. While they started shooting even after they committed the assassination. This time in the car that they had left on the street, this was probably to scare everyone, who in the meantime could retaliate with a weapon.

"According to the witnesses of the event, the perpetrators shot twice. Once at Gentjan Bejtja's apartment and several other times on the main road where 4 cartridges were found, where a total of 28 cartridges were seized ", the investigation file states.

According to the data provided by the show 'Në Shënjestër', Gentjan Bejtja is said to have returned to his apartment, just one night before the assassination. Something which seems not to have escaped the attention of his killers, who apparently had been sewing him from behind for a long time to eliminate him.

But the measures that Beytja had taken, had not enabled them to do such a thing.
