Ricky Martin has denied the accusations of incest by his grandson. The singer's lawyer, Marty Singer, emphasized that Martin has never had "any kind of sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew". These accusations come at a time when his former partner accused the singer of violence.
"Unfortunately, the person who made this claim is struggling with profound mental health challenges. Ricky Martin, of course, has never been – and never would be – involved in any kind of sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew.
The idea is not only untrue, but disgusting. We all hope this man gets the help he urgently needs. But above all, we expect this terrible case to end as soon as a judge looks at the facts," said the lawyer.
The alleged victim is believed to be Dennis Yadiel Sanchez's 21-year-old nephew. The singer's brother also claimed that the Grammy winner physically and psychologically abused Sanchez, with whom he was in a seven-month relationship.
We recall that at the beginning of this month, a restraining order was issued against the 50-year-old singer after accusations of violence and stalking by a man who claims to have been in a relationship with him for several months. Martin denied the allegations of domestic violence, calling them "completely false and fabricated".
