The Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, who is expected to visit Albania tomorrow as part of the integration process, has made a special appeal to the officials in his country: "Remove the collars and use less air conditioners, to save energy."
The Spanish Prime Minister, dressed in a suit, but without a collar, has said that this is one of the simplest ways to cope with high temperatures, while the gas crisis has gripped all of Europe due to the Russia-Ukraine war.
"I also ask the private sector not to use ties when it is not necessary. We all have to contribute to save energy", added Pedro Sanchez.
According to the Spanish Prime Minister, this move will make it cooler for people and thus reduce energy costs because air conditioners will be used less.
This is not the first time such a move has been made. In Japan in 2011 there was a campaign asking public officials to wear lighter clothes in the summer.
