Panic on stage/ Acrobat loses control and falls from a height (VIDEO)

A video of the acrobat Mariia Konfektova in the show "Cirque du Solei" has gone viral.

Mariia had a scary moment while giving a show in the air, in the circle. She lost control and fell to the floor.

Her head bounces off the floor and she looks around in a daze. People rush to her aid as the video ends.

One spectator, Benjamin Goldstein, said he thought the disaster was all part of the show at first — but then he saw blood pouring from Maria's nose and realized it was actually a freak accident.

Cirque du Soleil later released a statement saying Konfektova was conscious, stable and under the care of doctors
