The Albanian scientist Mira Murati has been ranked among the 100 most influential people in the world in the field of technology that is revolutionizing the world, that of artificial intelligence.

'TIME 100 AI' honored the figures who are making giant steps for technological transformation, among them the head of Google, Sundar Pichai, while Mira Murati is on the list of innovators.

But to get here, Mira Murati spent 12 troubled months. It is considered the main driving force for the meteoric growth of the "OpenAI" platform.

As the company's chief technology officer, Murati worked behind the scenes to lead the building of platforms like ChatGPT and DALL-E and adapt them for public use.

Last November she was thrust into the spotlight when she was named interim executive director.

In the months that followed, Murat played a more public role in the company.
