Did you die from ketamine? Matthew Perry's ex-partner "drops the

The former partner and assistant of Matthew Perry has asked the police to expand the investigation into his death.

Katie Edwards, 47, told the Mirror she was deeply concerned about the circumstances of his death after it was revealed last week that Perry had injected ketamine around 21 times in the last week of his life.

As she reports, Matthew Perry had a severe phobia of needles, and had never injected ketamine, even in the worst stages of his addiction.

"It sounds very strange to me. Matthew always told me he would never use needles or get injections. "He didn't even want to get a tattoo," she said. He had even told her that he had exactly this fear. That an injection could prove fatal for him.

"I often saw him taking different medications. I was always scared and told him he should stop messing all this up because he's going to die. And he always told me "I only die when I use needles and I will never, ever do that".

Katie also says there are serious questions about why no drugs or other paraphernalia were found at the scene.

"If he had taken a large injection, there would have been a needle and evidence of ketamine in the house. Where did it all go? Why did the assistant give all those drugs and run away? I always stood by Matthew if he was using drugs as I didn't want him to overdose or something happen to him. But why wasn't it his assistant?"

Prosecutors allege Perry injected ketamine at least 20 times in the days before his death. In the hours before his death, Perry had given three injections.

Perry allegedly instructed his assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, to inject him with another large dose of ketamine and prepare the hot tub. After Iëamasa injected him with the drug, he left the house to run errands. When he returned, he found Perry dead.

Placencia, according to prosecutors, was the one who supplied Iguamasa with the ketamine. He is also accused of injecting Perry with the drug himself and showing the assistant how to do it.
