The world's tallest woman has traveled by plane for the first time in her life after the airline moved 6 seats of the plane to accommodate her.
25-year-old Rumeysa Gelgi, who is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's tallest woman (7 meters), usually gets around using her wheelchair, as she has Weaver syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that causes rapid growth.
She flew from Istanbul to San Francisco thanks to the airline which turned the plane's 6 seats into a stretcher to accommodate her.
Through a post on social networks, Gelgi described the trip to her 19,500 followers.
"A perfect trip from start to finish... this was my first plane ride but it certainly won't be my last... a heartfelt thank you to every single person who has been a part of my journey," she wrote.
