The return of the "Spring Festival" at RTSH, after more than two decades of absence, has immediately sparked debate online, where in addition to enthusiasm for the return of a well-known tradition, there has been no shortage of critical reactions from many artists regarding the age criteria for participation.
One of the most commented voices was that of singer Ermira Babaliu, who, through a Facebook post, ironized the main condition of the festival, which limits participation to only those aged 18-30. "RTSH News: The 'Spring Concert' returns... performers aged 18-30", she writes, accompanying it with ironic emojis, while further adding with humor: "On that same day we hold the big spring concert in an adjacent hall or on the steps of their palace".

Babaliu's reaction has also found support from other names. Singer and presenter Gjergj Leka has commented ironically, proposing the organization of a parallel event for all those left out: "No problem, I'll organize another one for all of you and we'll title it 'Spring has come', like Migjen's verses."

Meanwhile, singer Mimoza Selimi has described this decision as a deformation of the festival's tradition, recalling that once the "Spring Concert" had no age restrictions and was an open space for all artists, regardless of generation.
