Israeli army strikes rocket launch sites in Gaza

The Israeli Armed Forces (IDF) announced that they had struck two locations near Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, today, from where rockets were fired towards Israel.

There were no reports of casualties from the Israeli attack, however, eyewitnesses reported loud explosions and fire at one of these locations, where ambulances rushed a short time later.

According to the IDF update, the Israeli Air Force struck an area from which a rocket was launched earlier today, but it fell inside the Palestinian enclave.

No Palestinian organization claimed responsibility, as the fragile ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas remains in place.
