European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will accompany Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Washington tomorrow for his meeting with Donald Trump at the White House.

Von der Leyen announced the news in a social media post, saying that the Ukrainian leader had asked her to attend the meeting with Trump. She also said that other European leaders would also join her, but did not provide details on who they might be. Zelensky will meet with von der Leyen in Brussels later, before they head to the US.

"This afternoon, I will welcome Volodymyr Zelensky to Brussels. Together, we will participate in the Coalition of the Willing. At the request of President Zelenskyy, I will join President Trump and other European leaders at the White House tomorrow," Von der Leyen wrote.
