In a meeting held this Monday in the United Kingdom with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer , US President Donald Trump spoke about tense situations at the global level, also mentioning Kosovo and Serbia.
Trump stated that if he had not been engaged on the international stage, six wars would have broken out around the world, citing as examples the potential conflicts in India -Pakistan, Kosovo-Serbia, Congo-Rwanda and tensions in Gaza .
Regarding the Balkans, Trump stressed that tensions between Kosovo and Serbia were at a critical point and that he had intervened directly to prevent a potential clash.
He added that he had told the leaders of both countries that, if a war broke out, there would be no more trade with the United States.
This threat, according to Trump, had influenced them to withdraw from escalating the conflict.
