Donald Trump
US President Donald Trump has again attacked NATO and is questioning America's contribution to the alliance.
" NATO was not there for us. And that means if they are not there now, they will not be there in the future. So why are we there? Why are we spending hundreds of billions of dollars a year on NATO if they do not support us ," Trump said in an interview with Fox News.
He stressed that while NATO has not supported him regarding the war in Iran, they will not support him on other important issues either.
"If they don't support us on the Iranian issue, they won't support us on a much more important issue than Iran ," Trump added.
