Serbian and Russian presidents, Aleksander Vucic and Vladimir Putin

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, met with the Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to China.

"I saw President Putin and we talked briefly, very briefly, we did not have a bilateral meeting," said Vucic.

He told reporters that he had noticed that Russia's president was, as he put it, "bursting with confidence."

"I saw that he had an important and long meeting with Chinese President Xi and Hungarian Prime Minister Orban. I spoke with Orbán about the upcoming European Council session and some other games that are going on there and around us and some other things. I think it was useful," said Vucic.

Vucic, during his stay in China, was also received in a meeting by the country's president, Xi Jinping.
