One dead and 10 injured in the mass five-car accident on the Peja-Prishtina highway

A serious accident occurred around 18:20 at the bridge in Komoran, in the direction of Peja - Prishtina.

Naser Syla, the director of Emergency at QKUK, has announced that as a result of the accident, one person died, 10 others were injured.

Syla announced that two of the injured are in a more serious condition.

The case for IndeksOnline was also confirmed by the police spokesman, Daut Hoxha, where he announced that 6 cars were involved in the accident while he announced that there are also injured.

"Today, on 11.08.2025, around 18:20, a traffic accident with six vehicles involved and injured persons was reported, which occurred at the crossroads, at the bridge in Komoran, in the direction of Peja-Prishtina.

Immediately after receiving the information, the police units went to the scene, while the emergency medical teams and the fire brigade unit were also notified, which reacted to provide the necessary assistance to the persons involved and to manage the situation.

The Kosovo Police is carrying out the necessary investigative actions and traffic management in that road segment, while you will be notified in time for other details", said Hoxha.
