A tragedy occurred in Greece in the Port of Piraeus, where a 36-year-old man lost his life after being thrown into the sea by the crew of the "Blue Horizon" ferry.

The unprecedented crime has shocked public opinion in the neighboring state. The whole event was filmed with amateur cameras by various citizens.

As seen in the footage, but also as reported by the Greek media, the 36-year-old, identified as Antonis Karyotis, is seen hurrying to catch the ferry that was about to depart from the Port of Piraeus to the Port of Heraklion in Crete.

At the gate of the ferry stood two people, the ship's crew, who did not allow the 36-year-old passenger to board. They pushed him with their hands, even though the victim had a ticket to the ferry.

As they were pushing him, the ferry gate started to close and the 36-year-old man fell into the water and as a result lost his life.

Other passengers on the ferry describe the terrifying scene, as the incident has sparked public outrage.

Those present have told the Greek media that after the 36-year-old fell into the sea, the crew member who pushed him acted as if nothing had happened and said "Let's continue". No one tried to help the victim.

Meanwhile, the Greek police have started investigations into this serious incident. The victim's family considers the 36-year-old's death a murder. Meanwhile, the authorities have seized the ticket that the 36-year-old had reserved for the ferry line.
