The trial in the murder case of Liridona Ademaj, an event that has shocked public opinion in Kosovo, continued today, February 11, at the Basic Court of Pristina. In this case, the main suspect is her husband, Naim Murseli, who is facing charges related to organizing the murder of the 30-year-old.

During today's hearing, a message was revealed that, according to the prosecution, was sent the night before the murder.

According to the statement in the courtroom, on November 28, 2023, at around 7:41 p.m., Naim Murseli allegedly sent a message to Granit Plava with the content: “Friend, it will probably end tomorrow.” This message was read by the judge during the review of the material evidence.

According to the prosecution's claims, this communication is considered an important element related to the event that occurred the following day, where Liridona Ademaj lost her life as a result of gunshots. However, the accused Naim Murseli stated in the hearing that he does not remember having sent such a message, denying it.

The hearing was characterized by tension, as the parties presented their positions regarding the evidence presented so far. The prosecution is trying to prove that the murder was planned, while the defense is contesting the charges, demanding full verification of the communications and circumstances presented.

The murder case of Liridona Ademaj has aroused numerous reactions in public opinion, being considered one of the most serious criminal events in recent years in Kosovo.

The trial is expected to continue in future sessions, where additional evidence, technical expertise, and witnesses will be presented that may shed more light on the circumstances of the tragic event.
