Who fights and who wins: Russia, $150 million a day from the war in the Middle

The war in the Middle East is bringing huge financial benefits to Russia, which according to a report by the Financial Times is earning an additional $150 million per day from oil exports.

According to published data, during the first 12 days of the war alone, the Russian budget benefited from between $1.3 billion and $1.9 billion in additional revenue. The increase is related to the increase in oil prices and the sudden demand for Russian oil on international markets.

Analysts estimate that if the average oil price remains between $70 and $80 per barrel, Russia's profits during March could reach $3.3 to $4.9 billion.

The escalation of conflict and tensions in the region, particularly around the Strait of Hormuz, have created uncertainty in global energy markets and prompted many countries to seek alternative sources of supply, thus increasing demand for Russian oil.

Experts warn that while this situation is bringing immediate benefits to Moscow, market volatility and geopolitical tensions could have a long-term impact on the global economy and energy trade.
